Das neue Wasserkraftwerk am Augsburger Hochablass wurde heute eingeweiht. Musikalischer Höhepunkt war Carl Orffs Carmina Burana mit dem philharmonischen Chor Augsburg.Das Wasserkraftwerk am Hochablass ist seit Dezember 2013 am Netz und versorgt durchschnittlich 4000 Augsburger mit Ökostrom.

Die Bauzeit betrug 20 Monate und 12,9 Millionen hat das Kraftwerk am Hochablass gekostet.
