進入校門口往菩提大道前進約三十公尺，即到達三友路的路口。梯拾級而上，首先到達「竹林」，風來疏竹，風過而不留聲，依然虛心亮節。曉雲導師寫竹多以文人君子之風自況、自勵，強調君子竹虛心而有節度，虛心能如大海而容納百川，節度能不屈不撓以靜定功夫自持，因此君子能善養不憂不懼、從容大方的器度。
